Call for Papers
The Editor-in-Chief of the Academic at Risk - Journal of Human Rights and Refugee Studies (JHRRS) cordially invites authors to submit manuscripts for consideration in this academic journal. The following describes the mission, coverage, and guidelines for submission to JHRRS.
Mission
The JHRRS publishes researches that include comprehensive and in-depth analysis on human rights and refugee studies using quantitative and qualitative methods. The publication of field studies as well as theoretical studies is encouraged. It is among the important aims of the journal to present policy suggestions for policymakers and decision makers at the global and national level, and thus to contribute to the solution of human rights and refugee problems.
The journal welcomes research in various scientific fields such as law, economics, public administration, business, education, health, psychology, sociology, etc. As an international journal, we would like to state that JHHRS is open to the work of scientists from all over the world.

Topics to be discussed in this journal include (but are not limited to) the following:
Human rights law and policy
Refugee and migration studies
Gender and sexuality studies
Transitional justice and post-conflict societies
Indigenous rights and sovereignty
International criminal law and human rights
Humanitarianism and human rights
Environmental justice and human rights
Human rights in the digital age
Women and child rights
Submission
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original empirical research articles 5,000–7,000 words in length. Interested authors are requested to consult the journal’s guidelines available on our website [Journal Website] before submission. All submitted articles will undergo a double-blind review process by at least three members of the journal’s Editorial Review Board and one Associate Editor. Final decision regarding acceptance, revision or rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers and at the sole discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
